I didn’t find my passion for design straight away. Despite studying Graphic Design at Bristol UWE, my twenties were spent skateboarding and, as my lecturers liked to say, showing “a lack of potential.” It wasn’t until a close friend asked me to design a logo for his family’s gym that things changed. The result was objectively terrible, but it lit a spark that has got me to where I am today.
From there I threw myself into learning through Skillshare tutorials, late nights, and logo challenges, all while juggling a full time management job. A few months later, armed with what I thought was a killer portfolio, I took a pay cut to start as a Junior Designer at a local agency. It was humbling, intense, and the best decision I’ve ever made.
Eight years on, I’ve worked with global brands on everything from visual identity systems to packaging, editorial, and campaign design. I now lead the creative output at Banbury Litho, guiding projects from strategy and concept through to artwork and production. I also collaborate on creative ventures outside of work, including helping my friend Rowan Siddons launch No Place Art.
I love the balance of big picture thinking and pixel perfect detail, whether that’s pitching ideas, shaping brands, or obsessing over a Bézier curve until it feels right. I’m constantly learning, exploring photography, illustration, and creative strategy, and always looking to collaborate with people who value craft, curiosity, and meaningful design.
